
Chili Spaghetti
- 1/2 lb. thin spaghetti
- 1/2 can black beans, drained
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 cup grape tomatoes
- 1/2 cup light lager
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 small white onions, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp worcestershire
- 1/4 tsp cayenne
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef, onion, salt and pepper. Stirring occasionally, cook for 5-7 minutes until beef begins to brown and onions begin to soften.
- Add tomatoes, minced garlic, tomato paste, cumin, paprika, chili powder, worcestershire, cayenne, and brown sugar. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until tomatoes begin to cook down and beef is browned. Add the lager and bring to a simmer. Continue to cook chili over a low simmer for 15 minutes.
- While the chili is cooking, cook spaghetti according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Add the black beans to the chili and stir to combine. Let cook for an additional 4-5 minutes to allow beans to absorb the chili flavor.
- Toss chili with the cooked spaghetti and serve! Enjoy!
