Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Brownie like double chocolate cookies are the perfect balance between a cookie and a brownie.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • ¼ cup White Sugar
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar
  • ½ cup Butter softened
  • cup Cocoa Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¾ teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ cup Chocolate Chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • In the bowl of your stand mixer, cream together brown sugar, white sugar and butter. Mix over medium speed until smooth. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract. (You can also mix in a bowl with a fork or rubber spatula.)
  • In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt.
  • Add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients over medium speed until well incorporated.
  • Fold in chocolate chips. Let dough firm up on the counter for 10 minutes.
  • Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • Scoop balls of dough onto the cookie sheet using a cookie scoop or measuring about 2 tablespoons of dough.
  • Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes until toothpick runs through cookie and comes out clean.
  • Transfer cookies to a cooling rack to let cool. Enjoy!!
