Chewy Thin Chocolate Chip Cookies

Best ever chewy thin chocolate chip cookie recipe!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • cup granulated sugar
  • cup brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup butter softened

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Add flour, salt and baking soda in a bowl and set aside.
  • In the bowl of your stand mixer, cream together butter and sugars. Beat in vanilla and egg. With your mixer on medium speed, add flour. Beat until flour is incorporated. Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto parchment paper lined baking sheet. Leave about 3 inches of space between each cookie (I fit 6 cookies on my baking sheet). They spread out quite a bit while baking.
  • Bake cookies for 9-11 minutes until golden brown. Transfer cookies to a cooling rack.
