Slow Cooker Ground Beef Chili

Hearty ground beef and bean chili cooked low and slow in a slow cooker/crockpot. Serve with shredded cheese and a dollop of sour cream!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 15 oz. can kidney beans drained
  • 1 15 oz. can great northern beans drained
  • 1 15 oz. can diced tomatoes
  • ½ onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • 2 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 jalapeno chopped
  • ½ green bell pepper chopped
  • 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef. Transfer to slow cooker when done.
  • Add all remaining ingredients to the slow cooker and stir to fully combine.
  • Cook chili on high for 4 hours or on low for 7 hours. When done serve chili with your favorite toppings. Enjoy!

Notes

If you prefer making this chili on the stove, use the following instructions:
In a large pot, add ground beef, onions and peppers and cook until beef is browned.
Add all remaining ingredients to the pot and stir to fully combine. Bring to a low simmer, cover and let cook for about 45 minutes stirring occasionally.
When done serve with your favorite toppings! Enjoy!
