Ingredients

  • 8 slices Thick Cut Bread
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon Nutmeg
  • ½ cup Milk
  • Powdered Sugar topping
  • Syrup topping
  • Butter topping

Instructions

  • In a baking dish or any other semi deep bowl: mix eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and milk.
  • Heat a large skillet to medium heat. Add a tablespoon of butter or light oil to the skillet to prevent sticking.
  • Dip both sides of your bread into the egg mixture and transfer directly to the hot skillet. Cook bread until golden on the bottom, then flip and cook another minute or so until golden. Repeat with all bread.
  • Transfer french toast to a plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar, syrup and butter. Enjoy!
