In a skillet over medium heat, add ground beef, onions and season with salt. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until beef is browned. Add garlic and cook for 1 more minute. Drain off excess grease.
Add tomato sauce, broccoli and remaining seasonings and cook over low for about 5-7 minutes.
While sauce is on low, cook gnocchi according to the package instructions.
In a 9x13 baking dish, add 1/3 of the sauce on the bottom. Toss the gnocchi on top of the sauce and then pour the remaining sauce on top. Sprinkle the top with the mozzarella cheese.
Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes until cheese is melted and slightly golden.
