Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 packet active dry yeast 2-¼ tsp
  • ¼ cup butter melted
  • 2 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
  • ½ tablespoon minced garlic

Instructions

  • Add the yeast and sugar to the warm water and let yeast rise for about 10 minutes. Once yeast is foamy, pour into the bowl of your stand mixer along with the flour, salt and oil. Knead over medium speed for about 5-7 minutes until dough forms ball around hook. Remove dough from bowl and place in a lightly oiled bowl. Cover with damp towel and let rise for about 1 hour, or until dough doubles in size.
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Cut dough into 2 sections. Working with each section, roll our dough onto a floured surface into a long, skinny round log. Cut each section about every 3". Then, gently tie the dough into a knot and transfer to a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Repeat until you have all of your knots.
  • Mix melted butter and minced garlic together in a small bowl. Using a basting brush, baste the tops of all the knots.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes until tops are golden.
  • Remove from oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Enjoy!
