Apple Cinnamon Banana Bread

Delicious banana bread made with fresh apple and a cinnamon brown sugar crumb topping.

- 2 very ripe bananas
- 1 apple
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1-½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoon milk
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
- ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Peel and remove core of apple. Finely chop and set aside.
In a large bowl, mash the bananas. Add the remaining ingredients including the apple and mix to combine.
Pour banana bread mixture into a lightly buttered 9″ x 5″ bread dish.
Bake in the oven for 45-50 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let cool. Slice and serve.
