Glazed Honey Soy Baked Chicken

  • 2 lbs chicken breasts or thighs boneless, skinless
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce low sodium
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 green onion stalks chopped (optional)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)


  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Lightly oil the bottom of your baking dish and place even sized pieces of chicken breasts in the dish.
  • In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, minced garlic and ketchup.
  • Evenly pour sauce over the chicken breasts.
  • Bake chicken for about 25 minutes.
  • When done, remove chicken from the oven. Sprinkle top with chopped green onion and sesame seeds(optional). Enjoy!


Internal temperature of the chicken should be at least 165 degrees. I prefer between 165-175 degrees.
