Ingredients

  • ½ lb Ground Beef
  • 8 oz Portobello Mushrooms sliced
  • 1 Small Onion sliced
  • 2 Garlic Cloves minced
  • ¼ cup Cream Cheese
  • ¼ cup Sour Cream
  • 1 ¾ cups Beef Broth
  • 3 tablespoon All-Purpose Flour
  • 3 tablespoon Butter
  • ½ tablespoon Yellow Mustard
  • 8 oz Egg Noodles
  • Salt + Pepper
  • Fresh Parsley - chopped optional

Instructions

  • Boil egg noodles according to package instructions, drain and set aside for later use.
  • In a large skillet, add ground beef and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Brown meat over medium-high heat then transfer to a plate for later. Drain any excess grease from skillet.
  • Add butter and onions to the skillet over medium heat and cook for about 2-3 minutes. Add mushrooms and cook until golden and onions are tender. Next, stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Sprinkle flour over mushrooms and onions and mix to combine. Slowly add beef broth while stirring. Then, add ground beef back to the skillet along with sour cream, cream cheese and mustard. Stir occasionally over medium heat until you have a creamy sauce.
  • Toss egg noodles into the sauce and stir to combine. Let cook another minute, then remove from heat. Sprinkle top with fresh chopped parsley (optional). Enjoy!
