Best Ever Moist Cornbread
Delicious, fluffy and moist cornbread is the perfect pair for your favorite chili's, grilled meats, and so much more
granulated white sugar
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, onion powder and sugar.
Add milk, eggs and vegetable oil to the dry ingredients and mix to fully combine.
Lightly butter an 8"x8" baking dish. Pour batter into the dish evenly.
Transfer dish to the oven and bake for 25 minutes until golden and a knife runs through the bread and comes out clean.
Remove bread from oven and allow to cool before serving. Serve with a slice of butter and honey.
*Store leftover cornbread in a sealed container or storage bag on the counter for up to 2-3 days.
