Line asparagus on a baking sheet and brush with melted butter. Sprinkle evenly with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Transfer to the oven and bake for 12-14 minutes.
In the meantime, in a small saucepan whisk together balsamic vinegar, minced garlic and brown sugar. Bring to a low simmer for about 5-10 minutes until the balsamic vinegar thickens to a glaze. Remove from heat.
When done, remove asparagus from the oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze. Serve with your favorite main courses. Enjoy!
