Balsamic Glazed Baked Asparagus

Delicious and easy oven baked asparagus finished with a mouthwatering balsamic glaze. Serve balsamic asparagus with your favorite main courses.

  • 1 lb Asparagus 1" of ends removed
  • 1/3 cup Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 Garlic Clove minced
  • 1 tbsp Butter melted
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/8 tsp Garlic Powder


  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Line asparagus on a baking sheet and brush with melted butter. Sprinkle evenly with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Transfer to the oven and bake for 12-14 minutes.
  • In the meantime, in a small saucepan whisk together balsamic vinegar, minced garlic and brown sugar. Bring to a low simmer for about 5-10 minutes until the balsamic vinegar thickens to a glaze. Remove from heat.
  • When done, remove asparagus from the oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze. Serve with your favorite main courses. Enjoy!


*Store leftover asparagus in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days.
