Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
In a small bowl, mix dry rub seasonings and set aside.
For fall off the bone ribs, you need to remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs. To do this, carefully slide a sharp knife under the membrane then using a paper towel pull it completely off.
Lay ribs on a large baking sheet and rub ribs all over with the dry rub seasonings. Pour apple juice around the ribs onto the baking sheet. Cover tightly with aluminum foil.
Transfer ribs to the oven and bake for about 2 - 2.5 hours until they are super tender.
How to make Coca Cola BBQ Sauce:
In a small saucepan add all the ingredients and whisk together to combine. Cook over medium-low heat until sauce lightly thickens, whisking occasionally. After sauce thickens and darkens, remove from heat to let cool. Set aside for later use.
Finish the ribs on the grill:
When the ribs are done baking, remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Once the grill is nice and hot, transfer ribs to the hot grill meaty side down. Grill for about 5-10 minutes until you have some nice grill marks. Then, flip over and baste a few times with barbecue sauce.
Serve ribs with extra cola barbecue sauce and your favorite side dishes!
OR Finish the ribs in the broiler(If you don't have a grill): Transfer ribs to the broiler on foil and cook for a couple minutes, then baste with barbecue sauce and cook another minute.
