Ingredients

  • 2 lb. Tri-Tip Roast see notes below
  • ½ cup Red Onion chopped
  • 3 Garlic Cloves minced
  • ¾ cup Ketchup
  • ¼ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Yellow Mustard
  • ¼ cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 ½ teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • ¼ cup Beef Broth

Instructions

  • First, make the bbq sauce: In a small bowl, add all ingredients except for the beef roast and mix until well combined.
  • Pour a third of the sauce in the bottom of the crockpot. Place beef roast on top of the sauce, then pour remaining sauce on top.
  • Place lid on crockpot and cook on low heat for 7 ½ hours or on high heat for 4 hours. When done, beef will be fork tender.
  • Serve with creamy mashed potatoes, a salad or your favorite veggies. You can also serve on toasty buns for a delicious sandwich! Enjoy!

Notes

*Store leftovers completely cooled in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2-3 days.
**You can use tri tip, chuck roast, or London broil. I used a tri tip roast in this recipe and it was absolutely delicious!
