Pepperoncini "Mississippi" Pot Roast

Delicious slow cooker beef roast recipe made with pepperoncinis, homemade seasoning and French fried onions.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ lbs Chuck Roast
  • 5 Pepperoncinis plus 1-2 tablespoons juice
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • ½ cup French Fried Onions
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Dried Dill
  • 2 tsp Dried Parsley
  • ¼ tsp Paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • ¼ tsp Ground Mustard

Instructions
 

  • Add all of the ingredients to your slow cooker except for the beef roast and pepperoncinis. Stir to combine.
  • Add the beef roast and spoon some sauce on top. Add pepperoncinis to the slow cooker and pour a splash (1-2 tablespoons) of pepperoncini juice over the meat.
  • Cook in your slow cooker on low heat setting for 7-8 hours until meat is fork tender.
  • Serve over mashed potatoes or on toasty buns for a delicious sandwich and more!

Notes

HOW TO MAKE POT ROAST IN THE INSTANT POT/PRESSURE COOKER:
Cook on “high” or “manual” mode for 1 ½ hours. Let pressure release naturally when done (about 15 minutes).
