Mississippi Pot Roast Recipe - A classic pot roast recipe made with pepperoncinis, homemade seasoning and French fried onions. Serve over creamy mashed potatoes or on toasty buns for a delicious sandwich.

Ingredients you need to make Mississippi Pot Roast:
Pot Roast - We used a boneless chuck roast in this recipe. You can also use a tri-tip roast, London broil or round roast. I like to use whatever is on sale at the market!
Pepperoncinis - You'll need about 5 whole pepperoncinis with a splash of the juice.
Butter - Salted or unsalted butter both work fine in this recipe. You'll need a half stick or ¼ cup.
Beef Broth - We used low sodium beef broth but you can use regular beef broth, or beef bone broth. If you are in a pinch, chicken broth or vegetable broth will work as well.
French Fried Onions - You'll need about a ½ cup of French fried onions. You can get these at any grocery store. These add such a delicious flavor to the recipe!
Seasoning Blend - Dried Parsley + Onion Powder + Garlic Powder + Black Pepper + Dried Dill + Paprika + Ground Mustard
