Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Delicious freshly baked homemade banana muffins loaded with chocolate chips. These muffins make for a delicious quick and easy sweet breakfast.

- 2 Bananas very ripe
- ½ cup White Granulated Sugar
- ¼ cup Brown Sugar
- 1 ¾ cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 Egg
- ¼ cup Butter melted
- ¼ teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1 cup Mini Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a bowl, mix flour, cinnamon, and baking soda and set aside.
In a large bowl, mash the bananas. Add melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar and mix until well combined. Mix in egg and vanilla extract.
Sprinkle in flour mixture and mix until well combined. Finally, gently fold in chocolate chips. Careful not to over mix.
Pour banana muffin batter into a lightly buttered muffin pan or into a paper baking cup lined muffin pan.
Transfer bread to the oven and bake for 20-22 minutes.
When done, remove muffins from the oven and let cool slightly. Transfer to a cooling rack to allow them to finish cooling.
Enjoy muffins freshly baked warm!
