Honey Sriracha Chicken Skewers

Delicious grilled chicken recipe made with a simple homemade spicy honey sriracha sauce. The flavors are slightly sweet, buttery and spicy.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs Chicken Thighs (boneless, skinless) cut into 1" cubes
  • 2 tablespoon Butter salted or unsalted
  • 2 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Wine Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • green onion, sesame seeds, red pepper flakes optional garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan over low heat, add butter, sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey. Cook for a few minutes until butter is melted and sauce has come to a low simmer. Remove from heat and save for basting the chicken later.
  • Heat the grill to medium heat (about 350 degrees).
  • Place cubed chicken on skewers and season all sides with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  • Once the grill is hot, place skewered chicken on lightly oiled grill. Turn the skewers every 3-4 minutes until the chicken is cooked through (internal temp 165 degrees), about 20-30 minutes. During the last few turns baste with honey sriracha sauce.
  • Remove chicken from grill and garnish with chopped green onions, red pepper flakes and sesame seeds (optional). Enjoy!
