Mushroom Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ tablespoon Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar
  • 8 oz Mini Portobello Mushrooms sliced
  • ½ Yellow Onion chopped
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 3 Garlic minced
  • 1 lb Ground Beef or Turkey
  • 15 oz Can Diced Tomatoes
  • 15 oz Can Tomato Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
  • 1 ½ teaspoon Dried Parsley
  • ½ teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese grated

Instructions
 

  • In a large saucepan over medium-low heat, add butter, oil, balsamic vinegar, mushrooms and onions. Season with salt and cover. Cook, stirring occasionally, until veggies are tender. Stir in garlic and cook another minute.
  • Add ground meat to the veggies and cook until browned. Add remaining ingredients and stir to combine. Break up tomatoes with spatula. Cook sauce over a low simmer, stirring occasionally, for a minimum of 15 minutes.
  • Serve Mushroom Spaghetti Sauce over a bed of spaghetti and with your favorite salads and garlic breads.
