Stovetop Sweet Potatoes

Simple and delicious pan fried sweet potatoes done in under 20 minutes. Serve as a healthy dinner or breakfast side dish.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Large Sweet Potatoes peeled, cut into ½" cubes
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • ¼ tsp Dried Basil
  • ¼ tsp Paprika

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add oil and butter.
  • Once the butter begins to lightly simmer, add diced sweet potatoes. Toss to coat. Sprinkle potatoes evenly with seasonings and cover.
  • Cook potatoes covered, stirring every few minutes.
  • Once the potatoes are fork tender, turn heat up a little and remove lid. Sear a few minutes to lightly brown.
  • Serve with your favorite main courses. Enjoy!
