Turmeric Rice

A delicious and buttery golden turmeric rice side dish recipe made with fresh mushrooms, onions, garlic and bone broth.

- 1 cup Jasmine Rice
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- ⅓ cup Yellow Onion chopped
- ⅔ cup Mini Portobello Mushroom chopped
- 2 Garlic Cloves minced
- 1 teaspoon Ground Turmeric
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ tsp Black Pepper
- 2 cups Chicken Broth
- 2 tablespoon Cilantro fresh chopped
Add butter, chopped onion, and mushroom to a skillet over medium heat. Cook until veggies are tender. Add minced garlic and cook another minute.
Stir rice, turmeric, black pepper and salt into the cooked veggies. Add chicken broth and bring to a low simmer. Cover and cook for 20 minutes.
When done, rice will be tender and fluffy. Sprinkle chopped cilantro on top of the rice and serve. Enjoy!
