Turmeric Rice

A delicious and buttery golden turmeric rice side dish recipe made with fresh mushrooms, onions, garlic and bone broth.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Jasmine Rice
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • cup Yellow Onion chopped
  • cup Mini Portobello Mushroom chopped
  • 2 Garlic Cloves minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Turmeric
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 2 tablespoon Cilantro fresh chopped

Instructions
 

  • Add butter, chopped onion, and mushroom to a skillet over medium heat. Cook until veggies are tender. Add minced garlic and cook another minute.
  • Stir rice, turmeric, black pepper and salt into the cooked veggies. Add chicken broth and bring to a low simmer. Cover and cook for 20 minutes.
  • When done, rice will be tender and fluffy. Sprinkle chopped cilantro on top of the rice and serve. Enjoy!
