SAVORY BARBECUE MEATBALLS - Homemade meatballs tossed in a delicious savory barbecue sauce.

    How to cook the meatballs?

To make the meatballs: Combine diced onion, minced garlic, ground beef, seasonings, ketchup, mustard, breadcrumbs and an egg. Mix the ingredients well and begin to form small to medium sized meatballs.

Next, heat a large skillet to medium heat. Add the meatballs to your hot skillet. Let the bottom of the meatballs lightly brown and then carefully begin turning meatballs using tongs or a spatula. Repeat this process until all sides are browned and the meatballs are cooked through.

Once your meatballs are finished cooking, turn heat to medium low and add the barbecue sauce. Lightly stir the meatballs to fully coat in the sauce. You are ready to eat! Enjoy!!

    What about the Barbecue sauce?

You can use your favorite barbecue sauce recipe or your favorite store bought kind. But, I highly recommend going the extra mile and making my barbecue sauce for this recipe. It's so dang good! See my recipe below.

How should I serve these meatballs?

Serve these meatballs as a tasty appetizer at a party. A perfect way to do this is to stick a small skewer into the top of each meatball or serve in mini cupcake liners!

Another delicious idea, is to serve over a mashed potatoes or a bed of rice. I served these meatballs with a side of my favorite chipotle macaroni and cheese!

      Way too much cider vinegar.
      Otherwise, great!
