Must have kitchen tools every home chef needs in their home:
KitchenAid Stand Mixer – I use this stand mixer for everything from kneading bread, whipping frosting, making cookies and cakes and so much more! This mixer makes life so much easier when baking your favorite treats!
Chef Knife – A good chef knife is a crucial kitchen tool. I use this exact knife every single day! It is a highly versatile knife you can use for chopping, slicing and more.
Digital Thermometer – I use this exact meat thermometer nearly every single day. It helps to ensure your meats are the exact perfect temperature which prevents overcooking and undercooking meats.
Enameled Cast Iron Braiser – I absolutely love this braiser. I use it for making all of my acid based sauces like homemade pasta sauces and more. It is also amazing for braising your favorite meats like short ribs and so much more.
Nonstick Fry Pans – When it comes to making eggs, grilled sandwiches and things like pancakes, a non-stick skillet it key! There is nothing worse than whipping up eggs and they stick to your pan. Therefore, this is one of my absolute favorite kitchen tools.
Cutting Board – A good cutting board will not only make your life easier in the kitchen, but it will last you YEARS! This is my favorite cutting board. Wood cutting boards are a little more maintenance but they are the best for not harboring germs. You’ll need a wood oil to prevent your board from cracking. I oil my board about once per month.
Silicone Spatulas – These spatulas are so great and versatile. You can use them for baking, cooking, stirring, mixing and so much more. They are heat resistant – so no melting while cooking your favorite meals!
Measuring Cups and Spoons – Every single kitchen needs measuring cups and spoons for properly measuring your ingredients especially when baking! These are super sturdy and great quality.
Baking Sheets – Good quality baking sheets are a must in your kitchen. These don’t bend while baking and they also heat evenly which is very important!
Slow Cooker – I use a slow cooker or my instant pot every single week. They make hectic days a breeze when it comes to serving your family a delicious meal when you don’t have much time. I highly recommend one that has a built in digital timer that way when the time is up it will automatically turn off.
