Honey Barbecue Boneless Wings are the perfect appetizer or side dish to serve with your favorite main courses! These also make for great party food. We love to serve them with homemade pizzas, on top of salads, sandwiches and so much more!

This recipe will make about 20-25 nuggets which will serve about 4-5 people. You can double this recipe if you are cooking for a large crowd.

Ingredients You Need To Make Honey Barbecue Boneless Chicken Wings:

Chicken Thighs - You can use boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts.

Cornstarch - We use cornstarch to help the egg and breadcrumbs stick to the chicken. You can use all-purpose flour as a substitute.

Panko Breadcrumbs- We use panko, ritz crackers or regular plain breadcrumbs. Crushed up cornflakes would also be yummy.

Egg - We use one large egg to help the breadcrumbs stick to the chicken.

Seasonings - Salt, Black Pepper, Garlic Powder.

Honey - Use your favorite plain honey.

Barbecue Sauce - We love Trader Joe's organic barbecue sauce, but you can use your favorite - like Sweet Baby Rays.

Tobasco Hot Sauce - We use a few splashes of Tobasco hot sauce for added spice. You can also use a few splashes of Franks Red Hot. If you don't like spicy, you can skip this ingredient.

How To Make Honey BBQ Boneless Chicken Wings:

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cut chicken into 1 ½" cubes and pat dry. Place cubed chicken in a large bowl and sprinkle with cornstarch and seasonings. Toss to fully coat the chicken.

In another bowl, add egg and whisk. Pour egg on top of the chicken and toss to coat.

In the last bowl, add breadcrumbs. Working with each piece of chicken, dip into breadcrumbs on both sides to fully coat. Repeat with all chicken nuggets and transfer to your baking sheet.

Place boneless chicken wings in the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Carefully flip chicken over and bake for another 10 minutes.

In a large bowl, whisk together honey, barbecue sauce and tobasco hot sauce.

When chicken is done, internal temp should be at least 165 degrees. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly. Toss chicken into the honey barbecue sauce.

Serve Honey Barbecue Chicken Bites with your favorite ranch dressing. Enjoy!
