Store bought tortilla chips just don't do the trick like warm homemade tortilla chips! And they are so easy to make! Totally worth the extra effort to have fresh tortilla chips with your guacamole and salsa!

    Homemade Tortilla Chips

    Makes: 40 chips
    Total time: 20 minutes

    Ingredients:
    • 10 corn tortillas, cut into fours
    • ¼ canola/vegetable oil for frying
    • ½ teaspoon salt

    Directions:
In a skillet over medium-high heat, add oil. Once the oil is hot, drop about 4-5 corn tortilla triangles into the skillet. Fry for about 30 seconds on each side or until golden. Remove chips and transfer to a paper towel. Repeat process for all 40 chips. Once finished, add chips to a large bowl and toss in about a ½ teaspoon salt. Serve with your favorite salsa!
