How do I make bread stale in a time crunch?

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Cut the bread loaf into equal 1" cubes and scatter on a baking sheet. Bake for about 20 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool. Baking the bread will dry it out and make it go stale quickly.

How do I make holiday stuffing?

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2: Lightly grease a 9"x13" baking dish and add stale bread cubes to the dish.

Step 3: Heat a large skillet to medium heat and add butter, chopped onions, chopped celery, salt and pepper. Cook until soft, about 5-7 minutes and then add minced garlic and cook until garlic is fragrant. Season with nutmeg, sage, thyme and parsley. Pour mixture over the bread.

Step 4: In a bowl, whisk the egg and chicken broth. Evenly pour over the bread and stir to fully coat. Cover stuffing with foil for a softer stuffing, or for a crisper stuffing bake uncovered. Bake for 35-40 minutes.

Step 5: Remove stuffing from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

How do I store leftover Thanksgiving stuffing?

Store stuffing in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 48 hours.
