Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread – Moist and delicious banana bread made with lots of chocolate chips! Serve lightly toasted slices of bread with a smear of butter and a hot cup of coffee for breakfast or an afternoon snack.

This recipe makes one 9″ x 5″ loaf.

Ingredients you need for this recipe:

  • 3 very ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/8 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Tools to have on hand:

  • Loaf Pan (9×5)
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Lare Mixing Spoon
  • Measuring Spoons and Cups

Steps to make delicious homemade banana bread with chocolate chips:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl, mash the bananas. Add the remaining ingredients and mix to combine.

Pour banana bread mixture into a lightly buttered 9″ x 5″ bread dish.

Bake in the oven for 45-50 minutes.

Remove from the oven and let cool. Slice and serve.

    Wow this was really good! Nice and dense, very flavorful. I have tried many banana chocolate chip breads, but this one is my favorite now. Thanks!
