The Easiest and Most Delicious Sheet Pan Pizza Recipe - A step by step guide to the perfect homemade pizza recipe made from scratch. Topped with mozzarella and parmesan cheeses, pepperoni, sausage, and jalapeños.

Ingredients You Need To Make Homemade Sheet Pan Pizza:
All-Purpose Flour - We use unbleached white all-purpose flour in this recipe.
Active Dry Yeast - You'll need active dry yeast for the pizza dough.
Sugar - Regular white cane sugar helps to activate the yeast in our pizza dough.
Olive Oil - We use the oil for the pizza dough and the pizza sauce.
Butter - Salted or unsalted butter both work great.
Onion - Yellow, white or red onions all work great.
Red Bell Pepper - You can use orange, yellow or red bell pepper. We use the bell pepper for the pizza sauce.
Balsamic Vinegar - This will help to tenderize the onions and peppers and give the pizza sauce a nice flavor.
Garlic - Fresh garlic is best. A half teaspoon garlic powder can be used in substitution.
Tomato - One Roma or Campari or similar tomato for the pizza sauce.
Tomato Sauce - One cup of tomato sauce is needed for the pizza sauce.
Seasonings - Salt, Black Pepper, Dried Basil, Dried Oregano, Dried Parsley.
Parmesan Cheese - A good quality parmesan is best! You'll need a total of ¾ cups grated parmesan for both the pizza sauce and topping.
Mozzarella Cheese - Use your favorite mozzarella cheese. You'll need about two cups of shredded mozzarella.
Ground Sausage - A half pound of your favorite ground sausage. We like Jimmy Dean.
Pepperoni - We use large pepperoni from our store deli, cut into fours. Regular sized pepperoni may also be used.
Jalapeño - One large jalapeño adds a delicious spicy flavor.
Cornmeal - This will give the pizza a nice crisp bottom and help to spread the dough on pan without sticking.
