Ingredients you need to make Teriyaki Beef in your crockpot:
Beef Roast – You can use a tri-tip roast, top round roast, chuck roast, or London broil for this recipe. You’ll need about a one and half to two pound roast to serve four people.
Ginger – I highly recommend using fresh ginger. It adds a delicious flavor to the sauce. If you don’t have fresh – substitute for 1 tsp ground ginger.
Garlic – I highly recommend using fresh garlic in this recipe. If you don’t have fresh – substitute 1 tsp garlic powder.
Honey – Adds a nice sweetness to the teriyaki sauce to balance out the salt from the soy sauce.
Onion – You can use yellow, white or red onion. I used fresh chopped white onion.
Rice Vinegar – If you don’t have rice wine vinegar, you can also use white wine vinegar.
Sesame Oil – A good pure quality sesame oil is best.
Soy Sauce – I recommend using low sodium soy sauce in this recipe. Kikkoman is my favorite.
Brown Sugar – Light or dark brown sugar both work great.
Sriracha – Adds a little spice. You can use crushed red pepper flakes as a substitution.
Fresh Green Onions – Adds a nice fresh flavor and is used as an optional garnish.
Sesame Seeds – Used as an optional garnish.
