Ingredients you need to make Teriyaki Beef in your crockpot:

Beef Roast - You can use a tri-tip roast, top round roast, chuck roast, or London broil for this recipe. You'll need about a one and half to two pound roast to serve four people.

Ginger -  I highly recommend using fresh ginger. It adds a delicious flavor to the sauce. If you don’t have fresh – substitute for 1 teaspoon ground ginger.

Garlic -  I highly recommend using fresh garlic in this recipe. If you don’t have fresh – substitute 1 teaspoon garlic powder.

Honey - Adds a nice sweetness to the teriyaki sauce to balance out the salt from the soy sauce.

Onion - You can use yellow, white or red onion. I used fresh chopped white onion.

Rice Vinegar - If you don’t have rice wine vinegar, you can also use white wine vinegar.

Sesame Oil - A good pure quality sesame oil is best.

Soy Sauce - I recommend using low sodium soy sauce in this recipe. Kikkoman is my favorite.

Brown Sugar - Light or dark brown sugar both work great.

Sriracha - Adds a little spice. You can use crushed red pepper flakes as a substitution.

Fresh Green Onions - Adds a nice fresh flavor and is used as an optional garnish.

Sesame Seeds - Used as an optional garnish.
