Ingredients You Need To Make Crockpot Hot Honey BBQ Chicken:
Chicken Thighs - Two pounds of boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts.
Honey - Use your favorite unflavored honey. We like to use raw unfiltered local honey.
Barbecue Sauce - Use your favorite barbecue sauce. We normally use Trader Joes organic barbecue sauce or Kinder's hickory brown sugar for this recipe.
Franks Red Hot Sauce - Adds a delicious slightly sweet and spicy flavor to the chicken.
Tools to have on hand:
Instant Pot or Crockpot - To slow cook the chicken in.
Measuring Cups - To properly measure your ingredients.

How To Make Crockpot Hot Honey BBQ Chicken:
In a small bowl, mix barbecue sauce, Franks red hot sauce, and honey. Reserve half for later in an airtight container in the fridge.
Add chicken thighs to your crockpot and pour hot honey barbecue sauce mixture over the chicken. Cook on low for 6 hours or on high for about 3 hours until chicken is fork tender and cooked through to at least 165 degrees.
Shred chicken with two forks and mix in remaining sauce from the fridge.
