Cajun Chicken Recipe - Tender, juicy and flavorful easy Cajun Chicken Thighs recipe seasoned in bold cajun spices and pan-fried to golden perfection. Serve cajun chicken over your favorite pastas, on tacos, on a sandwich or with your favorite side dishes.

We like to serve cajun chicken sliced and on top of creamy Alfredo pasta or on tortillas with our favorite taco toppings. This chicken is super versatile and you can make a ton of different meals with it!
This recipe calls for about two pounds of chicken which should serve about 4-6 people. If you are cooking for a large crowd, simply double the recipe.
Ingredients You Need To Make Cajun Chicken:
Chicken Thighs - You can use boneless, skinless chicken thighs or boneless, skinless chicken breasts. You'll need about one and a half to two pounds for this recipe.
Cajun Seasoning Blend - Salt + Black Pepper + Dried Basil + Dried Parsley + Paprika + Dried Oregano + Garlic Powder + Onion Powder + Cayenne Pepper.
Butter - Salted or unsalted butter.
Oil - We use avocado or olive oil to sear the chicken in the pan with butter.
Tools to have on hand for this recipe:
- Nonstick Skillet – To cook the chicken in. You can also use a cast iron skillet or cook on your grill.
- Mixing Bowl – For mixing the cajun chicken seasoning.
- Spatula – To flip chicken over while cooking. You can also use tongs if thats easier for you.
- Measuring Cups + Spoons – To properly measure all of your ingredients.

How To Make Cajun Chicken:
In a small bowl, mix the cajun seasoning.
Season chicken on all sides with cajun spice seasoning blend.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add oil and butter. Add seasoned chicken to the skillet.
Cook chicken about 5 minutes until golden brown. Flip chicken over and cook for about 5 more minutes until golden and cooked through to at least 165 degrees.
When done, remove chicken from the pan.
Serve with your favorite side dishes, pasta, tacos, burritos or as a delicious sandwich. Enjoy!
