    JUMP TO RECIPE

Chicken Parmesan Sandwiches - Made with baked parmesan chicken, mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce on toasty bread!

    This recipe serves 4 people.

What ingredients do I need for this recipe?

    • chicken thighs or breasts
    • parmesan cheese
    • breadcrumbs
    • paprika
    • salt
    • pepper
    • garlic powder
    • dried basil
    • marinara sauce
    • mozzarella cheese
    • french rolls

How to make Chicken Parmesan Sandwiches:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a small bowl, combine breadcrumbs, grated parmesan, paprika, salt, pepper, garlic powder and basil.

Press each chicken thigh/breast into the breadcrumb mixture on each side.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lay each piece of chicken onto the sheet and place in the oven for 15 minutes. Flip chicken over and cook for another 15 minutes. When chicken is done, juices will run clear, internal temp will be about 170 degrees. Remove from oven.

Place a slice of mozzarella cheese on each french roll. Place in the oven and bake until bread is toasty and cheese is melted.

Arrange sandwiches by spreading hot marinara sauce on the french roll followed by a piece of chicken parmesan.

Can you use tin foil if you don’t have parchment paper?
