Baked Crispy Chicken Sandwiches - Lightly breaded crispy baked chicken layered with shredded lettuce and mayonnaise on toasty buns. These sandwiches are simple yet super delicious! Serve with your favorite side dishes.

These Crispy Chicken Sandwiches are inspired by Burger King's Chicken Sandwich. We served ours with my easy homemade Crinkle Cut Fries. You can serve them on their own or with your favorite side dishes like a side salad, veggies, and more.
This recipe will make four sandwiches. If you are cooking for a larger crowd, simply double the recipe. Serve as an easy family-friendly dinner!
Ingredients You Need To Make Baked Crispy Chicken Sandwiches:
Chicken Thighs - You'll need four boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts for this recipe.
Ritz Crackers - We use crushed ritz crackers for the crispy coating. You can also use breadcrumbs or crushed corn flakes.
Egg - One egg is needed for the chicken batter.
Cornstarch - Cornstarch goes in the batter and helps the egg stick to the chicken thighs.
Seasonings - The chicken is seasoned with Salt, Black Pepper, Garlic Powder, Paprika.
Buns - You'll need four hamburger buns. We use potato buns in this recipe but you can use your favorite type of bun.
Iceberg Lettuce - Iceberg lettuce really makes a difference in this recipe. It adds the perfect fresh flavor and crunch that compliments these sandwiches perfectly.
Mayonnaise - We use Duke's or Best Foods mayonnaise on our chicken sandwiches.

How To Make Crispy Chicken Sandwiches:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Arrange chicken thighs on a large plate and sprinkle all sides evenly with seasonings and cornstarch.
In a small bowl, whisk egg. In another large bowl, add crushed ritz crackers.
Dip each chicken thigh into the egg and then into the ritz crackers. Transfer to the baking sheet. Repeat with all chicken thighs.
Bake chicken in preheated oven for 20 minutes. Gently flip chicken over and bake for another 10 minutes until crispy and cooked through to at least 165 degrees.
Arrange Chicken Sandwiches by spreading mayonnaise on toasty buns then top with crispy chicken and chopped lettuce. Serve with your favorite side dishes! Enjoy!

Ingredients
