How to make classic homemade brownies:
Directions: Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl and set aside.
In a small saucepan add butter, oil, water and sugar. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat. Add almost all of the chocolate to the saucepan reserving about a 1/4 of the chocolate chips for topping. Stir until smooth.
Transfer chocolate sauce to a large bowl and add eggs one at a time. Then gradually add flour until fully combined.
Pour brownie mix in a lightly greased or a parchment paper lined 8″x8″ baking dish. Sprinkle chopped almonds and remaining chocolate on top.
Bake for 30-35 mins or until you can run a knife through the brownies and it comes out clean. Grab a glass of milk and enjoy!

Just made these tonight! Very good! Did not have almonds so I used pecans and it came out fantastic!!
