Made with crunchy breadcrumbs, freshly shaved parmesan and crunchy romaine lettuce, you will want to make this salad over and over again!

Bring as an appetizer or side dish to parties, barbecues, potlucks and more. You will be sure to impress your guests.

This salad also goes amazingly as a chicken caesar salad wrap. Just heat up a tortilla and fill it up with the salad. I've done it and trust me you won't regret it!

You will get two very large portions out of this salad if serving as a main course or four smaller portions if serving as a side salad. It makes great leftovers too. If you are cooking for a crowd, simply double the recipe.

One more thing - You can serve the chicken hot or cold! Either way it is so delicious.

    Tools to have on hand:

    • Skillet - For searing the crispy chicken.
    • Tongs - To toss salad with and for cooking chicken.
    • Cutting Board - To chop up romaine lettuce and another one for cutting the chicken.

How to make Crispy Chicken Caesar Salad:

    Make the crispy chicken:

Lightly whisk egg in small bowl. In another bowl add breadcrumbs.

Toss chicken cubes in a large bowl with salt and garlic powder. Sprinkle top with cornstarch and toss to fully coat chicken. Pour whisked egg on top and toss to coat.

Then, press each piece of chicken into breadcrumbs on both sides.

Add oil to your skillet and heat to medium-high heat. Carefully add chicken to the hot oil and cook for about 3 minutes on each side until golden.

Transfer chicken to a rack while you finish the rest. Internal temp of chicken should be at least 165 degrees. Let chicken cool down slightly before serving.

    Arrange salad:

In a large salad bowl add romaine lettuce, top with croutons, crispy chicken, shaved parmesan and black pepper. Drizzle with caesar dressing. Enjoy!

    How to store caesar salad:

If you don't plan on eating salad right away or are planning on only eating half, don't toss in dressing. Store salad in an airtight container in the fridge and drizzle dressing on top when you are ready to serve.
