What fat ratio of ground beef should I use for my burgers?
I almost always use 80/20 ground beef when cooking my burgers. The fattier meat gives the burger lots of delicious flavor. But, you can use whatever ground beef you have on hand.
What barbecue sauce to use for my burgers?
For a super easy burger night in, you can use your favorite bottled barbecue sauce. For this specific recipe, I used my homemade Carolina Style Barbecue Sauce which goes excellent with this burger.
Potato Chips on a burger?
Absolutely!! I got this idea from Bobby Flay, who loves the crunch of potato chips on his burgers! I have to agree with him - it's fantastic. I used Lays classic potato chips, but you can use your favorite brand!
