The Most Delicious Homemade Roasted Salsa Recipe - Fresh roasted salsa made with jalapeños, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, garlic and spicy tomato sauce blended into a flavor-packed salsa.

Serve homemade salsa with your favorite Mexican main courses or with chips as a delicious dip. This recipe will make about a cup of fresh salsa.
If you're serving a larger crowd, you can double or even triple this salsa recipe.
Ingredients You To Need To Make Roasted Salsa:
Roma Tomato - One large Roma tomato or similar tomato work best in this recipe.
Jalapeño - We use one large jalapeño in this recipe. If you like your salsa very spicy, you can use two.
Cilantro - You'll need about a tablespoon of fresh cilantro.
El Pato Hot Tomato Sauce - We use one 8 ounce can of El Pato brand hot tomato sauce. You can use any color of can but we prefer the yellow can. You can find this at your local grocery store next to the salsas.
Yellow Onion - You'll need about a half yellow or white onion.
Vinegar - Distilled white vinegar is used in this recipe. You'll only need about one teaspoon.
Garlic - Two medium sized fresh garlic cloves are used in this recipe.
Salt - We typically use Himalayan or sea salt. You can use your favorite cooking salt.
Black Pepper - Ground or fresh cracked black pepper.
Tools to have on hand to make salsa:
- Food Processor - To blend your salsa in.
- Baking Sheet - To roast the veggies on.

How To Make Homemade Roasted Salsa:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Place jalapeño and tomato on a baking sheet and roast for 15 minutes. During the last 5 minutes, carefully add garlic cloves to the baking sheet. When done, remove from oven and allow to cool.
Once cooled, add roasted veggies and remaining ingredients to the food processor and blend until smooth.
Serve salsa with chips and your favorite main courses.
