Classic Egg Salad

Classic Egg Salad – Protein packed, simple and healthy egg salad recipe. Serve egg salad on its own, on crackers or as an egg salad sandwich.

Ingredients you need to make egg salad:

  • eggs
  • dill or sweet pickles
  • mayonnaise
  • mustard (yellow or dijon)
  • green onion
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • paprika

Here are the tools you need for this recipe:

  • Bowl (for mixing)
  • Measuring Cups/Spoons
  • Fork
  • Saucepan
  • Cutting Board
  • Chef Knife

How to hard boil eggs:

Place eggs in a large saucepan and cover with water. Bring water to a boil. Once water begins to boil, remove from heat, cover and let stand for about 10 minutes. Remove eggs from pan and let cool.

How to make classic egg salad:

Peel hard boiled eggs and transfer to a bowl.

Add remaining ingredients to the bowl with your eggs and begin to break up eggs with fork and mix until well combined. Try not to mash the eggs, so you have a chunky egg salad.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 hard boiled eggs peeled
  • 2 tbsp pickle (dill or sweet) finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp mustard dijon or yellow
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp green onion chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste

    I have been making egg salad for probably longer then you have been alive. This egg salad is so good and I just can’t believe how many eggs I have wasted over the years haha. This is so tasty.
