If you're looking for a super delicious and juicy pork chop recipe, you've found it! Not only are these pork chops amazing in flavor, but they are so easy to make!

This recipe makes four large bone-in pork chops giving each person a very generous portion. If you are cooking for a smaller crowd, simply cut this recipe in half. If cooking for a large crowd, you can easily double this recipe.

We served our pork chops with asparagus and mashed potatoes. You can pair yours with oven roasted potatoes, macaroni and cheese, a fresh garden salad and so much more. I will link a few of my favorite side dishes for you below.

Ingredients you need for this recipe:

Bone-In Pork Chops - You'll need four bone-in pork chops that are about one to one and a half inches thick.

Paprika - You can use regular or smoked paprika in this recipe. They both work great!

Brown Sugar - Light or dark brown sugar both work.

Salt - I almost always use sea salt in all of my recipes but you can use regular iodized/kosher salt.

Black Pepper - Ground or freshly cracked black pepper.

    Butter - Salted or unsalted.

Oil - Olive, canola or avocado oil all work great in this recipe.

    Garlic - Fresh minced garlic.

Mustard - I used regular yellow mustard but dijon or stoneground mustard are great too.

Parsley - I try to always use fresh if I have it on hand but you can use dried as well.

    Tools to have on hand:

    • Large Cast Iron Skillet - To sear the pork chops in prior to finishing in the oven.
    • Tongs - To turn your chops over after searing.
    • Measuring Spoons - For properly measuring all of your ingredients.
    • Small Bowl - For mixing the seasonings.

How to make baked Mustard Brown Sugar Pork Chops:

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Heat your cast iron skillet over high heat. Add butter and olive oil to the skillet.

In a small bowl, whisk together mustard, brown sugar, parsley, paprika, salt, pepper and minced garlic. Rub the pork chops all over with the mixture.

Once the skillet is very hot, add pork chops and cook for 2 minutes. Flip pork chops over and transfer to the oven to 6-8 minutes or until pork chops are at 145 degrees.

When done, transfer pork chops to a plate and cover with foil. Let rest for 4-5 minutes before serving.

Pour remaining sauce from your skillet over pork chops and serve with your favorite side dishes. Enjoy!

Baked Macaroni and Cheese - The creamiest, cheesiest mac and cheese baked to a golden perfection! What could be better? This baked macaroni and cheese is the ultimate comfort food. It goes great by itself or as a side dish!

Three Cheese Mashed Potatoes - Amazing creamy mashed potatoes made with cheddar, parmesan and cream cheese. These potatoes make for a super easy and delicious side dish to pair with your favorite main courses.

Creamy Corn Casserole - Creamy and comforting corn casserole is slightly sweet, mostly savory and absolutely mouthwatering delicious! This recipe has quickly become one of my favorite side dishes.

I use the pork roast medium size though I didn't use pork chops. I browned it like 4 minutes each side and backed it in the oven for 20min. Great taste and juicy. It was very delicious

I really enjoyed the flavour of these pork chops, 2 of them got a little burnt on the outside, and mine were a little thinner so they were a little dry. But over all, very good! Everyone liked the flavour, and no one had any complaints besides it being sort of dry. Thank you so much for the recipe! 10/10 would recommend!

I made this tonight, adding a small amount of chili powder. We liked it and will make it again. My pork chops were a little too thin and I overcooked them slightly. Thank you for your thorough explanations and tips.
