Notes on Ingredients for Bacon Western Cheeseburgers:
Ground Beef - We use lean 90/10 ground beef in this recipe. 85/15 fat ratio would also be great. The leaner the beef, the less your burgers will shrink while cooking.
Bacon - A good quality thick cut bacon goes great on these burgers.
Onion Rings - To make things easy, we use frozen onion rings in this recipe.
Cheddar Cheese - Quality sharp cheddar cheese is best. If you prefer melted American cheese on your burgers, that would also be extremely tasty!
Hamburger Buns - We use sesame seed brioche hamburger buns. You can use your favorite type of hamburger buns.
Barbecue Sauce - We use "Kinder's" brand hickory brown sugar barbecue sauce in this recipe. This barbecue sauce is on the slightly sweeter side. You can use your favorite barbecue sauce or what you have on hand.
Mayonnaise - The mayo adds a delicious creamy flavor which compliments the tangy barbecue sauce perfectly.
Hamburger Patty Seasoning - Salt + Black Pepper + Garlic Powder + Worcestershire Sauce.
